Cardeal Arco Verde Branch Line - Siqueira Campos streets

The new subway branch between Cardeal Arco Verde Station and Siqueira Campos Station requires 1530 m of tunnels, being 1028 m through Copacabana´s sandy soil. Siqueira Campos Station will have an area of 6,000 m2.

Novatecna performed the reinforcement of the twin tunnel by mean of a series of 360º truncated cone jet grouted shells.

The job was performed in three work fronts: República do Perú, Siqueira Campos and Figueiredo de Magalhães, with 3 equipment sets.

Novatecna parformed 50,000 linear meters of horizontal jet grouting and soil nailing with fiber glass.
